Everyday medical care

A practical option for new, non-urgent concerns.

Our walk-in clinic offers assessment when a health concern needs attention but is not an emergency. A clinician will listen, assess the concern and explain an appropriate next step.

Walk-in care is focused on the concern that brought you in that day. Depending on the assessment, next steps may include treatment, testing, a referral or follow-up with a family doctor or another healthcare service.

Common reasons to visit

Care for many minor illnesses and injuries.

This is a general guide, not a diagnosis. The clinic may recommend a different care setting after learning more about your concern.

01

Cold and flu symptoms

Cough, congestion, sore throat, fever or other respiratory symptoms that are not severe.

02

Minor infections

Ear discomfort, mild eye concerns and other possible minor infections requiring assessment.

03

Rashes and skin concerns

New minor rashes, irritation, insect bites or localized skin changes.

04

Digestive concerns

Mild nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea or constipation without emergency warning signs.

05

Urinary symptoms

Burning, frequency or discomfort that may need testing and treatment.

06

Minor injuries

Small cuts, bruises, mild strains or sprains that do not appear severe.

07

Headaches and discomfort

New mild headaches or localized discomfort without sudden or severe symptoms.

08

General new concerns

A recent non-urgent health change that would benefit from clinical assessment.

Your visit

What to expect at the clinic.
